Raquel Allegra deconstructed pullover knit
Just like most people on this planet, I always end up receiving several pairs of socks for christmas, some kind of funky sweater and a pair of pyjamas. This year however, instead of receiving a funky sweater, I got a great knit that I'm totally in love with! I had seen it with my mum when I went to this lovely shop called TnT. Christmas was coming up as was my trip to New York, so getting the sweater that day was a big nono. However, what I didn't know or expect is that my mum asked the saleslady to put it aside, and came back for it the following day. I was overjoyed and genuinely surprised when I opened up the package on Christmas day! It's oatmeal coloured and can be worn in the winter as well as in the spring with a nice pair of light was jeans and some white converse for example. I had never heard of the designer, Raquel Allegra, but she is L.A based and really makes some unique and gorgeous pieces. The reason I like this sweater so much is that it has a bit of a shabby chic look to it (with the "ripped shoulders and upper back) and it's extremely cozy (68% baby Alpaca, 22% nilon and 10% wool). You can find it here: http://www.farfetch.com/ca/shopping/item10807997.aspx
Here is a pic!
My half sister also bought be a great scarf and hat from Aigle. They're both super warm and easy to pair with just about anything because it's such a classic colour and style. I'm totally not going to deny that I walked around all of Christmas day with my hat and scarf on!
Here is the link for the scarf : http://www.aigle.com/en_fr/upbyme-17517.html

There's also a pair of matching gloves on the website.
